Fast-growing Welsh beef jerky snacks manufacturer, Trailhead Fine Foods, has launched two new flavours in time for Easter.
The Welshpool-based company, which has recently achieved the nationally recognised SALSA standard for its award-winning Get Jerky branded snacks, adds Devil’s Wrath and Teriyaki to its existing range of six flavours.
Devil’s Wrath was created for the new Trailhead Get Jerky Devils Staircase Ultra Trail Race, which was originally planned for April 4 but has been postponed to October 3.
“The extreme heat and adventurous flavours used in the Devil’s Wrath jerky really represent an exhilarating challenge,” said Emma Morris, Trailhead Fine Foods’ sales manager. “Are our customers ready to take on the Devil?”
Each bag contains 19 grams of protein and Devil’s Wrath joins ‘The Hot Ones’ Collection at Trailhead. A case of ‘The Hot Ones’ now includes four bags each of Devil’s Wrath, Spicy Chilli and Hot Smoked Chipotle flavours.
The new Teriyaki flavour sees the traditional Japanese cooking style recreated in premium beef jerky for an authentic Oriental experience.
Each bag contains 18 grams of protein and the new product joins ‘The Gourmet Ones’ collection, with a case comprising six bags each of Teriyaki and Black Garlic and Ginger.
Trailhead’s handmade, artisan jerky snacks are produced with responsibly sourced PGI Welsh Beef and marinated using secret, unique recipes. The jerky is made gluten free and low in fat, which makes it a healthy alternative to sugary and high fat snacks.

The snacks are available in more than 100 stockists across the UK, including service stations, farm shops, delicatessens, convenience stores, tourist attractions, petrol stations, breweries, pubs and hotels. Sales have grown by 300 per cent in the past year.
