So the team was tasked with pairing beautiful Wines from the Celtic Wines Company with our Delicious Jerky, it’s a hard life, isn’t it…We tasked them to match a drink from the Celtic Wines Company with each flavour of Jerky, so here are the results.

If you are looking for a drink to go along with our ‘Hot ones’ selection box or any of our spicy flavours, as the mead is sweet it adds a sugary sweetness to the chilly heat that’s just moreish, we can guarantee you will want more than one pack of Jerky to go along with this sensational mead. If you are not a fan of mead (I know if you are a fan of mead your thinking ‘what!’) We have a second perfect match with a gorgeous gooseberry wine, it’s a dry sour wine that cleanses the pallet, allowing you to taste the spicy tones over and over again, perfect if you love spice as much as we do.

BBQ flavour Jerky works perfectly with this deeply fruited blackberry wine, the fruity sweet richness of this wine, highlights the smokey bbq tones of the Jerky, just delicious! The Elderflower and gooseberry wine is a perfect match for the subtle spicy tones of the Teriyaki Jerky, this works really well together. For all of you ginger fans out there we have the perfect pairing, this gorgeous ginger wine with our Black Garlic and Ginger Jerky

For something different we suggest taking the Blackberry lacquer and making it into a Pimms, well where to start, we all loved this drink, it’s so moreish and with our black pepper and original jerkies really refreshing and perfect as a little guilt-free treat.

If you are unsure which wine to choose with your Jerky we would suggest this wonderful Elderberry wine, It’s similar to a bottle of full-bodied red wine, making it a perfect match for the meaty flavour of the quality red meat used in our Jerky.

To get your hands on some of these delicious drinks you can visit the Celtic Wines Company shop here and buy your favourite jerky here. Go on treat yourself and your nearest and dearest.
