Based in Welshpool just up the road from Wrexham, we’ve witnessed the incredible positive impact there’s been on our local area, thanks to Rob and Ryan coming to town and the phenomenal
success of their TV show Welcome to Wrexham, that’s put Wrexham, Mid Wales & Wales on the world map.
At the start of this year’s new football season, we enjoyed alongside 9.7K others watching the DRAGON JERKY spoof video VistaPrint made to celebrate Wrexham AFC aka ‘The Red Dragons’. As a jerky company it was great to see jerky being promoted and it was even better to see the comments asking where to get Dragon Jerky and our jerky business in Welshpool being recommended. As a VistaPrint customer, Get Jerky could easily have been the fictional Dragon Foods company – but we use PGI Welsh beef and not dragon meat in our recipes!
So, when VistaPrint approached us to team up and bring the dragon jerky featured in their spoof video to life – we bit their hand off!
Our Dragon Jerky launch has had a flying start thanks to VistaPrint. We’ve worked with VistaPrint’s creatives to produce our Dragon Jerky brand and new packaging, our marketing for the launch
including banners, stickers, signage and merchandise. We were honoured to be VistaPrint’s FIRST small business of the match and to have our branding on the pitch signage around the Wrexham AFC ground.
We’re super excited to be collaborating with VistaPrint, Wrexham AFC and Maximum Effort to share our story with the world in the video these guys have made for us.
They’ve flamed our ambition to fly to even greater heights.

Each bag is created using PGI Welsh beef, using our very own marinades (which we create fresh for every batch!) and the whole process is done by hand. To create our fiery Dragon Jerky flavour, we have combined a delicious blend of herbs, spices and chilli’s to represent the fire & passion of the Welsh Dragon!
